Tirumala Darshan Cab from Tirupati

Ghat-road-experienced drivers, Alipiri toll-gate paperwork handled, luggage waiting for your return.

The 22 km ghat road to Tirumala has 57 hairpin bends and a compulsory Alipiri check post. Our drivers run it several times a day, carry the vehicle paperwork the check post asks for, and know exactly where to drop you for each darshan queue. We can hold your luggage in the vehicle and be back at the exit point when you descend.

Two separate ghat roads connect Tirupati and Tirumala — one for the climb, one for the descent — and both pass through checkpoints where vehicle documents are inspected. A cab without current papers gets turned back at Alipiri, which is a problem you discover only after you have paid and set off.

Every vehicle in our fleet carries valid permits for the hill road, and our drivers make the climb daily. That matters on the descent as much as the ascent: engine braking through 57 bends is a skill, and passengers who get carsick notice the difference immediately.

On arrival we drop at the queue complex that matches your darshan type — Sarva Darshan, Divya Darshan for those who walked the steps, or the special entry queues — rather than the general parking area, which can be a long walk with elders. Your luggage stays locked in the vehicle, and we meet you at the exit when you come out.

Questions about this service

Can your cab drive up to Tirumala?

Yes. All our vehicles hold current permits for the Alipiri ghat road and our drivers run it daily. The check post inspects vehicle papers on the way up, and ours are always in order.

Do you arrange Tirumala darshan tickets?

No — darshan tickets are issued only by TTD through their official channels, so no travel operator can legitimately sell or guarantee them. What we do is plan your travel around the slot you hold and advise on reporting times and which queue complex to head for.

How long does the drive from Tirupati to Tirumala take?

About 45 minutes for the 22 km climb, assuming the queue at the Alipiri check post is short. During festival periods the check post can add significantly to that, so we leave earlier.

Can I leave my luggage in the cab during darshan?

Yes. Luggage stays locked in the vehicle while you complete darshan, and the driver meets you at the exit point when you descend. It saves queueing at the cloakroom.
